In my limited spare time, I developed a unique set of skills and expertise, over the past 10 years, supporting a growing homesteading community by becoming a subject matter expert, in many areas related to self-sustainability, goat husbandry, and beekeeping.

For approximately 4 years, the Crise Crew, including myself, my wife Kathy, and our adult daughter Amelia, have become part of the Goat Rancher staff, a magazine distributed mostly in North America. We have been writing a column for Goat Rancher, called Let's Ruminate, to share our experiences and expertise in the area of goat husbandry, with new and seasoned farmers, ranchers, and homesteaders.
