Learning and Development Leader
As a Learning and Development leader with 20+ years of experience and expertise collaborating with globally dispersed teams to design and deliver highly engaging, customer-centric training content and curriculum, I am committed to using best practices as a foundation and mining for next practices that will elevate and enhance the future of Learning and Development. I am a result-oriented collaborator with expertise in learning experience design (curriculum development, instructional design, and information architecture), program management, facilitation, coaching, process improvement, and Learning Management Systems. I am a forward-thinking and motivated professional with the ability to quickly learn new applications, software, and systems while managing multiple projects and collaborating at all levels of an organization.
I am a passionate innovator with a growth mindset, no matter the role, whether as a training officer and technical professional, a people leader and program manager for geographically dispersed projects, a master facilitator with formal teaching experience, coach, and administrator in an academic organization, or the many global learning and development roles I exceeded at while partnering with teams at an interactive display and SaaS enterprise. I am always looking for ways to be frugal with available resources, yet think big, change the world big, and look for ways to keep things simple, yet keep the customer at the forefront of every interaction no matter where they are in the customer journey. As a learning and development leader my experience offers a great opportunity to leverage a broad set of skills and my appetite for distilling complex topics and information, for leaders in today's fast paced world.
I am a jack of many trades, with a mindset that no task is too small, enabling me to apply a broad set of experiences and expertise to solve challenges and exceed set milestones. I am a seasoned professional in a few trades, learning and development, learning experience design, product, program and change management, and organizational leadership. Whether it is leading discussions to determine priorities, objectives and goals, managing the end-to-end project, designing instruction; content, resources, and learning pathways, developing the long-term curriculum, or the programmatic management of the long-term roadmap, I have the skill set to navigate and negotiate day-to-day priorities, meet and exceed established milestones, and work broadly with dispersed teams to realize the strategy and vision on time, on margin, and on quality.
