This checklist was developed by me while working as a Field Application Engineer / Technical Consultant, with additional responsibilities for developing technical training to support the sales team. I worked as part of a small, two-person tiger team that was focused on simplifying the steps to installing an interactive projector.

The challenge was most installers at the time were used to hanging interactive equipment on the wall, whether a board or display, and walking away. Job complete. Unfortunately, the interactive projector required the installation guide to be followed perfectly or it would not work properly. This checklist distilled the 45 page install guide down to one page, with approximately 20 key steps.

RMAs and DOAs decreased from over 20% to less than 1% once the checklist was deployed.
